The international platform of BusinessCem Conferences, which have been held for more than 25 years, is a place of business meetings for producers of cement, building materials and equipment. The Central Asian Conference BusinessCem Almaty was held in 2002 for the first time and brought together more than 250 specialists from 23 countries. This is the eighth meeting in Almaty.

Cement and construction enterprises of Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, as well as foreign countries participate in the event. They are leading manufacturers of equipment for the cement industry from Germany, France, Austria, Great Britain, Spain, Turkey, China, etc.

The forum is one of the most significant thematic sectoral events, where attendees can not only establish business contacts, learn about new technologies and innovations of the market, but also negotiate, conclude favorable contracts and create an environment for the future endeavors.

A special priority is given to the Business Agenda, within which representatives of companies and specialists of the cement and construction business sector will discuss the main areas and prospects of development at the round table, namely: status and development trends of the construction market; there will be an analysis and outlined prospects for the market development of cement and related products; Investments in the current economic situation are also considered. A separate issue in the agenda is modernization, reconstruction and construction of cement plants. The conference agenda covers such important topics as advanced technologies and equipment for production of cement and building materials, concrete, gypsum, sand, dry mixtures, etc.; technology and equipment for mining, quarrying and transportation of raw materials; new construction technologies and materials for the oil and gas industry; import & export of cement; modern requirements for product certification; enhancement the construction of cement concrete roads; fighting against counterfeiting and supply chain of cement and building materials. The important topics for manufacturers will also be discussed including but not limited: packaging and wrapping materials; energy saving; non-waste, environmentally safe production; training of personnel for the construction and cement industries. A special attention of the conference participants will be given to the topic: “Problems and prospects for the development of the construction materials industry within the framework of the Eurasian Community”.

A specialized exhibition is held as a part of the conference.

Traditionally, participants of the BusinessCem Almaty 2018 Conference in Almaty will plant a tree. In the cities of conferences, the participants and guests of the Cement Forum have been planting trees for many years. This tradition symbolizes the ties of friendship and cooperation between cement industry players from various countries and highlights the attention paid by the industry to the environmental problems.
