Clinical and Diagnostic Center of the International Kazakh-Turkish Universitynamed after H.A. Yassaui of Turkestan city was foundedin 2008.Since the first days of the opening, the Center has been working with the straight support of the Health Department of the South Kazakhstan  Region and the Republic of Turkey providing highly qualified medical services  to the population of Turkestan city and the district.

Now it is amodern clinical and diagnostic center equipped with unique medical equipment in accordance with European standards.Itbecame an experimental base for the medical faculty of theuniversity. The clinic does not onlyprovide medical services to the population of the region, but also makes conscious efforts to train future qualified medical personnel.

The Central Polyclinic can serve up to 200 patients per shift, and the inpatient facility is designed for 120 patients (surgery department has 15 beds, therapy department has 22beds, traumatology has 17beds, stroke center has 36beds, hemodialysis department has 10 beds and day hospital accounts for 20 beds).

 The clinic employs 312 employees, among them 69 people are specialists in various fields. 3 professors, 5 assistant professors, candidates of medical sciences, 2 PhD doctoral students, 11 Master's Degree Students and 5 residencyshipstudents of the medical faculty of the university work and teach here.

The clinic cooperates closely with the faculty of the medical department. For example, with regard to the profile of surgery and urology, Professor S. Seidinov, and Professor K. Karymbaev regularly examine the patients, as well as perform various operations with students. In the center of neuro-stroke, Professor H. Braulov constantly enhance students' practical skills of patients’ treatment.Professor R. Nurkasimov advises in obstetrics. The Clinic has two scientific rooms for research activities of undergraduates and doctoral students. Within the fellowship program of the medical faculty, doctoral students and Master's Degree Students together with doctors, conduct research work in the laboratory of the clinic under the guidance of Zh.N. Shalkharova Professor.This work brought its fruits and 8 Master's Degree Student and 2 doctoral students successfully presented their scientific projects.

The polyclinic of the Clinical Diagnostic Center is equipped with state-of-art equipment: there are Biochemical Analyzers for General Blood Test and Hormone Analyzers for General Urine Analysis. Moreover, there is a Magnetic Resonance Tomography, Computed Tomography, Ultrasound Devices and high-end Endoscopic Devices. As of today the clinic has the following departments – surgery, resuscitation, therapy, neurosurgery, neurosurgery, neuro-stroke, hemodialysis and traumatology; the services are also provided by highly qualified specialists: surgeons, endocrinologists, cardiologists, gynecologists, traumatologists, resuscitators, proctologists, nephrologists, dentists, neurosurgeons, speech therapists, rehabilitologists, therapists, urologists, ophthalmologists, neuropathologists and ENT doctors. There is also an operating unit, disinfection unit, endoscopy unit, audiometry unit, radiology unit, clinical laboratory, pathophysiology unit and exercise therapy department. The modern technological equipment of the laboratory allows performing various medical tests.

As the result of the voluntary registration campaign, 19,677 residents receive outpatient care and in addition to that, the population of Turkestanenjoys round-theclock urgent traumatic care; patients with “urgent” surgical pathology and patients who need urgent medical care are also admitted there.

The Clinical and Diagnostic Center asone of the most equipped modern clinics of the Republican level and one of six clinics in the region where high-tech operations are installed is the first center in Kazakhstan opened under the University, where students of the International Kazakh- Tyrian University named after HA.
